Dartford sprinter Adam Gemili was beaten into second place at the Sainsbury’s British Championships by Danny Talbot in the 200 metres on Saturday.

Despite the loss, the 20-year-old still secures a place at this summer’s European Athletics Championships in Zurich by virtue of finishing second with James Ellington claiming bronze.
