A TV antiques expert will be valuing antiques at a charity summer fair.

Alison Chapman, a regular on David Dickinson’s real deal and ITV’s Secret Dealer, will share her expertise at EllinorLions Hospices’ Summer Fair ar Coldharbour Road, Northfleet, on July 12.

The annual fair will be taking place from 11am to 3pm and there will be a variety of stalls, games and refreshments on offer.

Alison will be valuing antiques and gold testing from 1pm to 2pm.

She said: “I’m delighted to be able to support this fantastic event in aid of the hospice. I absolutely love valuing antiques and using my gold testing kit, so I really hope lots of people will dig out their treasures for me to take a look at.”

Events Manager Emma Whittington said: “We’re very grateful to Alison for sharing her time and expertise with us. The Summer Fair is a great day out for all the family and is a vital event for us to help raise funds for the charity. Please come along and enjoy the wonderful variety of attractions we have on offer.”

Entry to the fair will be £1 for adults and free for children under the age of 14.

All money raised will help EllenorLions Hospices care for seriously ill adults and children in the local community.
