The victim lost £500 when a man stole his wallet

Detectives investigating a report of a burglary in Gravesend are appealing for information.

It is reported that a man claimed he had carried out gardening work and when the victim got his wallet to pay, the suspect stole £500. The incident happened in Old Road East, between 12.30pm and 1.15pm, on October 7.

The suspect is described as a man with a local accent, around 6ft tall and thought to be aged between 35 and 40, and of large build.
