Detectives investigating a fraud have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak with.

The incident is reported to have taken place on Wednesday, May 30 in the area of Trinity Road, Gravesend.

It is reported that the victim was persuaded into parting with £19,000 by two males who claimed they had a winning lottery ticket and required assistance in claiming the money due to their immigration status.

One of the suspects was said to be feigning illness throughout and used this as an excuse to get the victim to leave the car before the men left the area.

Anyone with information about the medals is asked to call Kent Police appeals line on 01474 366 149 quoting crime reference XY/32972/18. Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their anonymous Online Form at
