Defender Mark Arber has left Dartford after a year at the club.

The 35-year-old, who made 38 league appearances in the Conference Premier last season, was unhappy with the length of contract offered by the Darts.

He stressed the decision is not motivated by finances or travelling distances.

South African Arber has played for a host of Football League clubs during his career, including Dagenham and Redbridge, Peterborough United and Barnet.
