It will be the battle of the muscle on the bank holiday weekend as the south east’s strongest men compete for the top title.

South East England’s strongest men will come to Gravesend town centre on Sunday August 27 to compete for the ultimate accolade.

Their muscle mission will include weights; the yoke run and a car lift in association with W J King Vauxhall of Gravesend.

The event, now in its third year, will be held along the stretch of New Road.

It will be presented by Martin Cee (The voice of Strongman) with special guest nine times world strongest man finalist Terry Hollands.

Spectators are invited to the free event from 11am to 5pm.

There’s also free parking in all council car parks all day.
