A COMMUNITY fundraising organisation has donated a set of new tabards for collectors raising money for a hospice.

Northfleet and Ebbsfleet Lions Club donated the clothing to the fundraising team of the Ellenor Lions Hospice, Coldharbour Road, Northfleet.

The vests, which cost £250, were needed when the charity changed its name earlier this year from the Lions Hospice to EllenorLions Hospice.

The Lions club also donated a further £2,250 to the charity.

Joy Blunderfield, fundraising manager for the hospice said: "We are delighted to have the new tabards, particularly for the fundraising events coming up. It makes our collectors official. The further £250 will be put to other projects for the hospice.
