The academy set up at the centre on Monday

An academy for youngsters interested in getting into judo is now up and running.

Judo Jim’s Judo Academy for Juniors set up at Cygnet Leisure Centre in Northfleet yesterday (Monday).

Holding the prestigious British Judo Associations Club Mark Award and also work with the Kent Children’s University.

All coaches at the gym are fully qualified, with years of experience training judo prospects around Gravesend and further into Kent.

“Cygnet are thrilled to welcome Judo Jim’s Judo Academy as another addition to our portfolio of amenities for the community as a whole,” commented Georgena Nunn, facilities manager at the leisure centre.
