FIRE investigators are examining the cause of a blaze which severely damaged a cottage. The owners of the property in Wrangling Lane, Luddesdown were not in at the time of the fire on Monday night, which has left half of the roof and ground floor damaged

FIRE investigators are examining the cause of a blaze which severely damaged a cottage.

The owners of the property in Wrangling Lane, Luddesdown were not in at the time of the fire on Monday night, which has left half of the roof and ground floor damaged.

Crews from Thameside fire station in Gravesend, and also Maidstone, Hawley and Strood, spent more than three hours fighting the fire.

Initial investigations suggest the cause of the fire is not suspicious.
