Officers have released an e-fit of a suspect
Police are investigating a burglary in Gravesend where the victim got home to find a man standing in his living room.
The incident took place at a flat in Windmill Street on Saturday, July 9.
The victim had returned home at around 2pm that afternoon, when he discovered the burglar.
He escaped through a window and was chased up the road, but turned right into Sheppy Place and was able to get away.
Upon returning home, the victim found a jewellery box containing a number of items had gone missing.
Police have created a computer-generated image of the man, who is described as white, in his mid-20s, about 5ft 5in and of slim build.
He was unshaven and was wearing a white baseball cap, white shorts, black trainers and a red coat with a hood.
