Police are appealing for witnesses

A man was chased before having cash, a wristwatch and a laptop computer stolen during a burglary in Gravesend.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was reportedly chased by two men he did not know in Thistle Road at 9pm on Sunday. When they caught him, they forced him to go to his home address.

While at the victim’s house, the two men were briefly joined by a third man and they allegedly stole the items.

The two men then forced the victim to leave the house, but they ran off when they saw a passing police patrol in Ingoldsby Road.

The men who initially approached the victim are described as black and aged between 19 and 25 with slim builds. One had a stubbly beard and sideburns, and was wearing a light grey waterproof jacket and tracksuit bottoms.

The second suspect had dark freckles on his cheeks, a small moustache, short hair in plaits, and was wearing dark clothing including a two-tone tracksuit top with a V-shape on the front.

The third man is described as black with a slim build, and was wearing a white hooded top and a black balaclava that showed only his eyes.
