Police were called to the scene at 1.15am on Thursday morning

An Esso garage in Dartford has been cordoned off by police after a burglary in the early hours of the morning.

Police believe the burglars stole cash from the Esso Garage on Dartford Road, before making off.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 1.15am to a report of a burglary at a service station shop on Dartford Road, Dartford.

“It was reported that a window was smashed and a quantity of cash stolen from within.

“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
