Burglars steal dozens of wine bottles after breaking in to Gravesend property

Police are appealing for witnesses after a break in yesterday (Monday) saw dozens of bottles of wine taken from a property.

The burglaryin Whitehill Road, Gravesend reportedly took place between 10am and 5.30pm.

Once inside, around 30 bottles of wine were believed to have been stolen during the raid.

A Kent Police spokesperson added: “A door was damaged and a number of items were reported stolen, including two purses containing cash and cards, and a quantity of bottled wine.”

Enquiries are ongoing to establish just how much wine was taken during the burglary.
