A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The man, from Gravesend, was released on police bail until July after being arrested in connection with a fatal crash on Bank Holiday Monday.

Police confirmed a 28-year-old man was killed in the smash in Bromley Lane, Chislehurst.

He died at the scene when a silver convertible Nissan hit his gold Vauxhall Astra. Two of his passengers, both men in their early 20s, were taken to Kings College Hospital, Camberwell, one in a critical condition and one with serious injuries.

The driver of the Nissan, from Gravesend, was taken to Kings College Hospital, Camberwell with serious but not life threatening injuries and later arrested.
