Cobham Community Ladies Choir was formed just over a year ago and is made up of singers aged between 15 and 60+.

The summer concert, Songs from the Stage and Screen, will take place at 4pm on Saturday July 14 at Cobham Church.

Under the musical direction of Penny Clements, the choir will present a concert featuring musical highlights from some of the biggest box office successes of recent years - including songs from the current big screen phenomenon, The Greatest Showman.

Founder of the choir Claire Hargrove said: “Of the concerts we’ve done so far this is our most well known programme, I defy anyone not to be able to hum along to a fair number of the songs we’ll be singing.”

Tickets cost £10 (£5 for under 18s) and include free refreshments.

They are available from Cobham Community Stores, on 07562 666408 or at www.ticketsource.co.uk/cobham-choir.
