AN evening of top stand up comes to the Woodville Halls next month as it welcomes what has become known as "Comedy's Unofficial National Theatre."

The Comedy Store, which now has a residency in Gravesend, will entertain audiences with some of the best comedians on the circuit, on February 4.

With over 25 years experience in the business, the store is a renowned breeding ground for comedy talent and remains the place to see tomorrow's stars.

Paul Merton, Eddie Izzard, Peter Kay, Clive Anderson, Mark Lamarr and Lee Hurst have all performed at the Comedy Store.

Tickets for the show are £12 and acts will be announced nearer to the time.
