Commuters face difficult journeys in Dartford following flooding

Commuters could be facing difficult journeys home in Dartford as flooding has hit a number of roads.

Our pics show motorists trying to avoid large puddles while out and about in the area and the A206 Bob Dunn Way in Dartford is closed eastbound between the Marsh Street junction and Swanscombe until further notice.

The Thames Barrier was scheduled to close at 3pm and should reopen at 7.30pm.

According to the Environment Agency, there are 35 flood warnings and 93 flood alerts across the South East.
