A POLICE officer is among four people charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and arson offences.

All four appeared at Maidstone Crown Court today (Friday) and have been released on bail until Monday September 14.

Harish Dubb, 21, a police officer, of Warwick Place, Gravesend is charged with conspiracy to commit arson, robbery and perverting the course of justice.

Amanjit Sandhu, 21, a doorman, of Cherrywood Drive, Gravesend and Gurveer Singh Rai, 21, a student, of Suffolk Road, Gravesend are charged with conspiracy to commit arson and robbery.

Baljinder Kang, 22, a student, of Farnburn Avenue, Slough is also charged with conspiracy to commit arson and robbery.

The charges are in relation to incidents in Gravesend between July 5 and 6 this year.

Alleged offences relate to a vehicle fire in Beaumont Drive and a sum of money that was reported stolen from a home in Pelham Road.
