A MAN is being questioned by police after a woman's badly decomposed body was discovered in a suitcase.

The Metropolitan Police arrested a man at 6am on Tuesday as they investigate the murder of Leah Questin, 37, originally from the Philippines.

He body was found in a suitcase that had been dumped in farmland of Buckland Road, Cliffe, near Gravesend last Thursday.

Leah Questin had been reported missing to the Missing Persons Unit at Brent by a friend on September 12, having last been seen at her home in Sneyd Road NW2.

She is 4ft 11in with a petite build. She has a light complexion and long black hair and was wearing a red top and blue jeans.

The arrested man remains in custody at a north London police station.
