The council is running its Energy Deal scheme

An energy bill switching schemed aimed at helping residents save money on heating costs is now open.

Energy Deal, run by Dartford Borough Council, helps residents look to reduce their gas and electricity bills by looking at the current market rates.

The scheme was last run in the Autumn and saved Dartfordians an average of £251 a year.

The deadline to sign up to the scheme is February 1, with more information available at or call 01322 343056.
