The crash involved two lorries

The east bore tunnel at the Dartford Crossing has reopened after two lorries collided on Tuesday morning.

One man has been taken to hospital following the crash, which has caused queues back to junction three for Swanley.

Delays of up to an hour are being reported on the anti-clockwise M25 carriageway.

A spokesperson from Kent Police said: “We were called at 9.29am on Tuesday, November 21 to reports of a collision involving two lorries in the Dartford Tunnel.

“Officers are currently at the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service. One man has been taken to a local hospital.”

Clearance work has now taken place with both tunnels now open.

Motorists are being advised to leave extra time for their journeys.
