There is a high level of congestion on roads around the Dartford Crossing this evening after a car crash saw two lanes of the A2 closed just after the Dartford M25 junction.

The A2 had two lanes closed heading east at the Bean Interchange because of a road traffic collision.

Emergency services were called to the scene at around 4.17pm and traffic is still slow moving past the incident.

This has caused slow moving traffic on the M25 anti-clockwise between M25 J2 and the Dartford Tunnel due to high volumes of traffic.

Drivers are told to expect delays.
