Dartford Heath was the scene of yet another fire yesterday afternoon after an area of vegetation around 50 metres square caught fire.

Around half a dozen firefighters were called just before 3.30pm and had put the flames out within 20 minutes.

No-one was hurt, and the cause of the fire is unknown, but there have been several such incidents on the heath during the summer.
