Crews use thermal imaging camera to find fire at Dartford home

Fire crews were called out to a fire in Wilks Road, Dartford yesterday (Thursday) evening.

Crews discovered heavily smoke logged loft space, but could not locate the fire.

They were called to the scene at around 7.15pm.

Using thermal imaging cameras, fire fighters located the fire inside a cavity in the roof.

They then managed to put out the blaze by using specialist equipment, and had the blaze under control just before 10pm.
