Police are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian sustained serious head injuries when a female motorist crashed in to him.

The collision happened in Pelham Road, near the junction with Granville Road, Gravesend, just before 6.30pm on Valentine’s Day – Monday February 14.

The 48-year-old local man remains in Darent Valley hospital in a serious but stable condition after being hit by the blue Audi.

No arrests have been made.

Officers from the Kent Police Serious Collision Investigation Unit are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen the pedestrian shortly before the collision.

He is Asian and was wearing black tracksuit trousers, a grey jumper, brown fleece top and black shoes.
