A Gravesend man has been jailed for 120 days after stealing an unknown amount of meat from a local supermarket.

Sean McGarrigle, 42, St Patrick’s Gardens, was sentenced on November 5 at Medway Magistrates’ Court.

McGarrigle also used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour causing two men to fear violence.

He was sentenced to 120 days in prison, and must pay a £150 criminal courts charge, as well as an £80 victim surcharge.
