Bupa Eglantine Villa, in Horton Kirby, invited members of the community and their family and friends to join them for their 25th anniversary on Wednesday, June 6.

The day kicked off with the planting of a commemorative tree, with members of Kent County Council in attendance.

Other activities included the burying of a time capsule, karaoke with staff and residents, a buffet lunch and afternoon entertainment from DJ Dave Smiler.

Home manager Amabele Cheng said: “I am immensely proud of my team here at Eglantine Villa, some of whom have worked here since the home first opened in 1993.

“It is only with the commitment of the nurses, care assistants, chefs, administrative staff and others that the home can keep providing the high quality of care that it does.”
