Appeal after collision in Dartford

Kent Police are appealing for information following a collision in Dartford on Sunday September 2.

The collision involved a white Mercedes C-Class and a 12-year-old boy.

Officers were called to Henderson Drive, near the junction with Marsh Street, at around 3.25pm.

The car involved was travelling towards Attlee Drive from the direction of Trevithick Drive.

The boy sustained injuries to his chest and arm and was taken to hospital for treatment.

His injuries are not reported to be life threatening.

A 45-year-old man from Dartford was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drugs.

He has since been released pending further enquiries.

Investigating officers would like to hear from any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have seen the involved parties in the moments leading up to the collision.
