Dressed up in pink, many visitors enjoyed the Birchwood Park Golf Centre charity day on Friday.

The ‘Wear it Pink’ day at the course, in Birchwood Road, Dartford, raised over £1,100 for Breast Cancer Campaign.

There were a range of activities and lucky golfers who discovered a pink golf ball in their basket on the driving range were rewarded with prizes.

The pgolf centre in Dartford donated £1 from every green fee paid on the day to the charity.

Melanie Drake, Birchwood’s general manager, said: “Staff wore brightly coloured pink outfits on the day and it was great to see visitors joining in with the fun and doing the same in aid of a great cause.”

People across the country participated in the annual Wear it Pink day.
