A 22-year-old from Dartford has been jailed for possessing party drug MDMA and cannabis with intent to supply.

George Alan Frederick Bevan, of Overy Street, was arrested after officers executed a warrant at his home address on August 20 and discovered quantities of cannabis and ecstacy in the form of MDMA powder.

Following an appearance at Maidstone Crown Court where he pleaded guilty, he was ordered on January 31 to serve a 32-month custodial sentence.

Investigating officer Det Const Angela Costin said: “We will not tolerate drug dealing and this case should serve as an example to other Kent residents who believe they can get away with it.

“So-called party drugs like MDMA are extremely dangerous and we will continue to stamp out offenders who deal them out.”
