Dartford man charged with five drug offences

Kent Police officers investigating the supply of drugs in Dartford have charged a man with five offences.

Rahman Luftur was arrested after officers attended an address in Chatsworth Road on Tuesday July 3.

A quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis was located inside, along with drug paraphernalia.

The 27-year-old, of Savoy Road in Dartford, was identified as a suspect and subsequently arrested.

Following enquiries, the Crown Prosecution Service authorised the following charges:

·Possessing cocaine with intent to supply

·Being concerned in the supply of cocaine

·Possessing cannabis with intent to supply

·Being concerned in the supply of cannabis

·Acquiring/ using/ possessing criminal property

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on Thursday July 5.

A 45-year-old man from Dartford was also arrested on suspicion of supplying a controlled drug.

He has been released, pending further enquiries.
