The first acts have been announced for the Dartford Festival next month, and they include a tribute act to the town’s most famous musical sons.

The line-up on Saturday, July 20 will include Not The Rolling Stones who will play some classic tunes from Dartford boys Mick Jagger and Keith Richards.

Northern Irish singer-songwriter Jordan O’Keefe will be taking to the stage on the same day. The 19-year-old was a finalist in this year’s Britain’s Got Talent where he performed his own acoustic version of Katy Perry’s Firework.

On the Sunday (July 21) The Neville Staple Band will be entertaining the crowds in Central Park. Neville Staple’s 35-year career in the music industry has taken him from The Specials in the late 70s and early 80s to a successful solo career in the 1990s to today.

Alongside the music there will be a family-friendly mix of stalls, activities and entertainment throughout the weekend.
