Talented linguists at Dartford Grammar School for Girls have beaten more than 16,000 students from 194 schools across the country in a foreign language competition.

The girls won the overall Genius Cup as well as individual cups for Spanish and German in the Vocab Express European Day of Languages Championship 2012.

Karine Kleywegt, Curriculum Team Leader for Modern Foreign Languages at Dartford Grammar School for Girls, said: “We are absolutely overwhelmed to have won and very proud of the students for their extraordinary effort.”
