Dartford man and woman charged after fire in Greenhithe flat

A 24-year-old woman and 29-year-old man have been charged with arson to endanger life after a fire broke out at a home in Greenhithe.

Jody Arney, 24, of no fixed address and Sam Stockford from Watling Street, Dartford were also charged with assaulting a police officer.

On Saturday night, firefighters were called to Wakefield Road, Greenhithe after a fire had started in a flat.

There were no reported injuries.

Both people have been remanded in custody and are set to appear before Medway magistrates today (April 4).

A 28-year-old man was released without charge
