Dartford pair arrested following fatal New Ash Green smash

A collision involving a green Ford Explorer and a blue Ford KA on Ash Road on Saturday killed a 56-year-old man

Police investigating a fatal smash in New Ash Green, Sevenoaks at the weekend have arrested three people, including two from Dartford.

On Sunday, a a 17-year-old boy from Swanley, a 16-year-old boy from Dartford and a 26-year-old man from Dartford were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and have been released on bail until January 8 while officers make further enquiries.

Officers were called just after midnight on Saturday to a report of a collision involving a green Ford Explorer and a blue Ford KA, on Ash Road at the junction with North Ash Road.

The driver of the KA, a 56-year-old man from the local area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are still keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision, and anyone with information is urged to call the appeal line on 01622 798538 or email quoting reference 28-0004.
