Officers on patrol arrest man on suspicion of Dartford robbery

Officers out on patrol in Dartford have arrested a man on suspicion of robbery.

A man reported being robbed in Spital Street, Dartford, at around 4pm on Saturday, November 3, where he is believed to have been approached by another man who demanded cash from him before punching him in the face.

After being hit the man then had the cash taken from him.

The victim went to a nearby shop where he reported the incident to a police officer who was on patrol.

Shortly later the officer arrested a man in his 50s who matched the description of the suspect.

The man, who is from Dartford, was arrested in Spital Street at around 6.30pm on suspicion of robbery.

He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
