A Dartford student has scooped a top art prize at the annual John Downton Awards for her untitled painting, in the 17 to 18-year-old age group.

Lauren Wilson, who attends Wilmington Grammar School, in Parsons Lane, took bronze prize in the county-wide competition and was presented with her award at County Hall, in Maidstone, last week.
