A teenager has died five days after being hit by a car while she was walking along Heath Street in Dartford.

Hannah Coan, 18, who is from the area, was left with critical injuries on Friday 7 after the silver Mercedes crashed into her at the junction with Phoenix Place at about 6.30pm.

She was flown to King’s College Hospital in London where she died on Wednesday (12).

PC Chris Oliver-Jones said: “This is an ongoing investigation and I would urge anyone who witnessed this incident or who may have information to come forward.’

Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a dark car, possibly a Vauxhall Vectra or Insignia, who might have been in the area at the time of the collision.
