Workers in Dartford believe they are the best at concentrating in the UK, according to a new survey.

When some 3,000 workers across the UK were asked how long they could focus for if they were somewhere where they wouldn’t be distracted, 47 per cent of workers in Dartford said they could concentrate on a task for more than three hours.

The next best performing towns were Portsmouth, with 31 per cent, and Watford, with 30 per cent.

The survey was carried out by Regus, which provides office accommodation.

Managing director of field operations Chris Pullen said: “Working environments play a huge role in the ability to focus, and these findings feed into a broader conversation about the importance of a quiet, professional setting for optimum productivity.”
