Problems are expected to last into the evening rush hour

Rail passengers travelling between Bromley South and Sevenoaks / Maidstone East are facing problems on board Southeastern services.

A signalling problem at Swanley means disruption could last until 5.30pm, during the evening rush hour.

The fault has also affected services from Bromley South towards Orpington, Rainham and Rochester.

A replacement bus service is currently running between Bickley, Maidstone East and Rochester to help commuters complete their journeys.

Tickets can be used on Thameslink services at no extra cost, with passengers reminded to use the delay repay scheme to claim back compensation on the delays.

The fault had been reported earlier on Thursday, but was thought to be fixed.

Network Rail later announced the fault had reoccured, and apologised for the disruption caused to passengers.
