Delays on A2 at Dartford after motorcyclist seriously hurt in crash

Drivers are advised to expect delays on the A2 at Dartford this morning after a serious accident.

A motorbike and a car collided at around 1.25am on the stretch between Dartford and Northfleet.

The motorcyclist was taken to King’s College Hospital in London with a serious head injury.

The coastbound carriageway of the A2 between the junctions with the M25 and A2260 is still closed while Kent Police investigate the crash near Bluewater.

They advised drivers to expect delays and allow extra time for journeys.
