Trains may be cancelled throughout the morning

An earlier trespass incident at Charlton Railway Station has now been resolved, however disruption is expected to continue throughout the morning.

A spokesperson for Southeastern said: “Trains may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 10 minutes or revised, whilst services recover.

“All lines between London and Dartford via Greenwich and Woolwich have now reopened. Some services are still being diverted via Sidcup and Bexleyheath.

“You can use tickets on the London Underground and DLR with no extra charge.”

Commuters affected by this may be able to claim compensation, and are advised to keep their train ticket, and make a note of the journey taken.
