DO you recognise anyone is this picture taken outside a pub in the town centre in 1947?

This group photograph was taken outside The Reindeer pub, on Wakefield Street, Gravesend, now the site of the St Georges Centre.

Bert Humphries, 66, of Wrotham Road, Gravesend, is keen to hear from anyone who recognises anyone in the photograph, or knows exactly when it was taken.

He said: "The photo belongs to my mother and in the picture is my granddad Albert Dryden and my uncles Bill Rowsall and Arthur Dryden.

"I would like to hear from anyone who recognises anybody in the picture, or who can tell me what they were doing and if they were going on an outing."

Contact Mr Humphries on 01474 350592.
