DOG bins have been erected in Vigo to combat persistent dog fouling.

Continued incidents at the junction of Commority Road and Erskine Road, as well as on footpaths at Churchside and Timber Bank pushed the authorities to act.

A survey carried out by neighbourhood officers revealed the scale of the problem and in response three bins have been erected by Kent Police and Gravesham Borough Council.
