Two defeats in three days over Easter have left Ebbsfleet United perilously close to relegation from the Blue Square Bet Premier.

A 2-0 home loss to Forest Green Rovers on Saturday was followed by a 3-1 reversal at Braintree Town on Easter Monday, leaving Fleet 11 points adrift of safety with seven games remaining.

Liam Enver-Marum scored the Fleet’s only goal of the weekend at Braintree.

The fixtures come thick and fast with a long trip to Barrow yesterday tonight (Wednesday) night followed by a match against Nuneaton at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

Next Tuesday the Fleet hit the road again for a match at Hyde.
