Portland House is offering 38 homes

The homes in Castle Hill are now up for sale

The continued development of Ebbsfleet Garden City saw nearly 40 new homes hit the market last week.

With the city expected to bring 15,000 homes to the area, the Castle Hill development delivered 112 apartments in October.

Last week the second phase of homes at Castle Hill was released, with 38 one, two and three bedroom apartments.

The homes at Portland House are still being built, but are selling from £229,000 with residents expected to move in from December.

Since the first phase of homes were released last year, around 40 have been sold.

“This part of Kent is set to become a magnet for local homebuyers and businesses over the next 15 years and the village of Castle Hill will be a major asset to this,” said Natalie Perry, sales and marketing head at housing developers Barratt Kent.

Once complete, the village will boast over 6,500 new homes, a 400-student school, shops and leisure facilities including parks, tennis courts and play areas.

The primary school, Cherry Orchard Primary, is due to open in September.
