Former EastEnders star Cheryl Fergison will be taking part in a charity sponsored walk in Gravesend.

The Sidcup actress, a patron of EllenorLions Hospices, will join hundreds of other participants at the charity’s Twilight Walk at the Cyclopark on September 19.

Walkers will have the choice of two challenges – doing laps of the Cyclopark or heading out through Gravesend for an 8km circular walk.

All participants will receive a free Twilight Walk T-shirt with a space on the back to write a message in support of the hospice or the name of a loved one.

Ms Fergison, who is now starring alongside comedian David Walliams in Big School, said: “This will be my second time at Twilight Walk and I hope to see lots of friendly faces at this year’s event! Come along for a Zumba warm-up and plenty of giggles as we raise much-needed funds for such a worthwhile local charity.”

Entry is £15 and registration on the night will be £20.
