Ebbsfleet United are offering people the chance to play on their Stonebridge Road pitch to raise funds for the cash-stricken club.

On Saturday, May 11 people can play on the pitch for a minimum of £10 per person. With the season over and no more home matches to generate income the club is hoping this will help swell the coffers.

Teams must be between 13 and 14 people each and Ebbsfleet is offering three matches lasting 20 minutes each.

The club still owes around £25,000 to HMRC before the end of the financial year, which ends on May 31.

Meanwhile, the Fleet Trust has issued a statement saying they have held a further meeting with prospective buyer Carlos Kabir Karani to discuss his proposals in more detail.

Mr Karani says he will know more about his potential takeover by the end of the week.
