Elderly woman trapped inside car after crash in Northfleet

The incident happened on Monday afternoon

Firefighters were on hand to rescue an elderly woman trapped after a crash in Northfleet this afternoon (Monday).

Emergency crews were sent to the scene of a two-car crash on Earl Road in the town at around 1.50pm.

The woman was freed from the crash by 2.07pm, and passed into the care of Secamb paramedics.

A Secamb spokesperson said: “We checked patients over at the scene but no one was taken for further hospital treatment.”

Fire crews then made the scene safe,

The road was reopened to motorists at 2.15pm
