The Mayor and Mayoress of Dartford, Cllr David Mote and Ellen Mote, cut the ribbon on June 9 at the leisure centre in Lowfield Street, Dartford, alongside Jeremy Kite MBE, Jamie Coyle and Derren Ibrahimm from Dartford Football Club.

Fairfield Leisure opened its doors in February 2016 and has gone from strength to strength.

The centre has seen a significant increase in visits with a current footfall of over 40,000 visitors per month.

This further £270,000 investment has seen a vast improvement to the gym facility and indoor cycling studio, with an increase of 18 new pieces of gym equipment being installed.

The centre has also recently undergone other improvements following customer feedback, with upgraded wet and dry changing facilities and the addition of more private changing cubicles.
